The Last Great Day

The Last Great Day is Yahweh’s last Feast and High Day found in Leviticus 23. It is celebrated the day after the week-long Feast of Sukkoth (Tabernacles) on the 22nd day in the seventh month of Tishri.  Adding the Last Great Day to the seven days of the Feast of Sukkoth gives you eight days and is why the Last Great Day is referred to in the Scriptures as the “eighth day”.  It is a High Day when we do no customary work and are required to have a holy convocation with other believers.

Leviticus 23:34 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, The fifteenth day of this seventh month shall be the feast of tabernacles for seven days unto Yahweh.   35 On the first day shall be an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.   36 Seven days ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto Yahweh: on the eighth day shall be an holy convocation unto you; and ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto Yahweh: it is a solemn assembly; and ye shall do no servile work therein.

39 Also in the fifteenth day of the seventh month, when ye have gathered in the fruit of the land, ye shall keep a feast unto Yahweh seven days: on the first day shall be a sabbath, and on the eighth day shall be a sabbath.

Numbers 29:12 And on the fifteenth day of the seventh month ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work, and ye shall keep a feast unto Yahweh seven days:

35 On the eighth day ye shall have a solemn assembly: ye shall do no servile work therein:

We see this eighth day, the last of Yahweh’s Feasts, kept by the Israelites.

2 Chronicles 7:8 Also at the same time Solomon kept the feast seven days, and all Israel with him, a very great congregation, from the entering in of Hamath unto the river of Egypt.   9 And in the eighth day they made a solemn assembly: for they kept the dedication of the altar seven days, and the feast seven days.

Nehemiah 8:17 And all the congregation of them that were come again out of the captivity made booths, and sat under the booths: for since the days of Yah’shua the son of Nun unto that day had not the children of Israel done so. And there was very great gladness.   18 Also day by day, from the first day unto the last day, he read in the book of the law of Elohim. And they kept the feast seven days; and on the eighth day was a solemn assembly, according unto the manner.

And we see that Messiah, while a man on this earth, kept the eighth day of the Feast and called it the “last day, that great day of the feast”.  Hence the reason believers call this feast day, The Last Great Day.  This “last day, that great day of the feast” was clearly the final feast day after the conclusion of the Feast of Tabernacles as shown in John 7:2, 8, 10-11, and 14.  This passage on the Feast of Tabernacles and The Last Great Day culminates in John 7:37-39.

John 7:37 In the last day, that great day of the feast, Yah’shua stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink.   38 He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water.   39 (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Spirit was not yet given; because that Yah’shua was not yet glorified.)

Why is this Feast called The Last Great Day?  Because this Feast looks forward to the final age of Yahweh’s plan of the ages.  It is a time when Satan is let loose for a season.  It is a time when the dead not resurrected to glory at Messiah’s Second Coming are resurrected to flesh-and-blood existence on this earth.  The Last Great Day is also a time when Yahweh’s Holy Spirit is poured out on all flesh-and-blood who have never received His Spirit.  It is a time when those resurrected to flesh-and-blood existence and given Yahweh’s Holy Spirit will have the choice to repent and obey Yahweh or to turn away from the truth.

The Last Great Day represents the final spiritual harvest of mankind to become Firstborn, to be the Bride of Messiah, to receive Yahweh’s inheritance, and to be able to enter the gates of New Jerusalem in the New Heavens and Earth.  It includes Yahweh’s final judgment of mankind for the ages, the White Throne Judgment.  The number eight in the Scriptures is associated with new beginnings; therefore, this Feast heralds Yahweh’s new covenant with mankind in the New Heavens and Earth.

For those of us who keep Yahweh’s Feast Days, we understand that His Feast Days reflect the plan of salvation and Yahweh’s plan for the ages.  Below is a brief recap of Yahweh’s Feast Days.

Passover- Passover involves belief and faith that Yah’shua was our perfect Passover lamb. (1 Corinthians 5:7).

For more information on Passover, please read “Passover and Easter”.

Unleavened Bread – Unleavened Bread symbolizes removal of sin (i.e. repentance) from our lives.  This feast culminates with water baptism on the last high day of Unleavened Bread.

For more information on this feast, please read “Chag HaMatzot”, “FirstFruits”, and “The Night to be much observed”.

Pentecost – Pentecost represents the New Covenant where Yahweh puts His law in believer’s hearts and minds.  This New Covenant was initiated on the Day of Pentecost (Acts 2) with the outpouring and indwelling of the Holy Spirit in believers.

For more information on this feast, please read “Pentecost”.

Shouting – Trumpets or Shouting represents Messiah’s return to this earth as King of kings and the resurrection of believers from the dead. (1 Thessalonians 4:16-18).

For more information on this feast, please read “Yom Teruah…Day of Shouting”

Atonement – Day of Atonement represents the covering of sins for Israel and all flesh-and-blood who are left after Messiah’s return.  This day also represents Satan being bound for 1,000 years from his position over this earth.

For more information on this feast, please read “Yom Kippur – Day of Atonement”.

Tabernacles – The Feast of Sukkoth (Tabernacles) represents Messiah’s 1,000-year reign on earth as King of kings and Sovereign of sovereigns.  It is a time of great peace and good will toward men.  It is the time when Yahweh Messiah will rule the earth with an iron rod with believers who are resurrected to glory.

For more information on the Feast of Sukkoth, please read “Feast of Tabernacles”.

But after Messiah’s 1,000-year reign on earth, represented by the Feast of Sukkoth, many interesting events happen.  This last period of time, the final age of the ages that culminates in the New Heavens and Earth, is represented by The Last Great Day.  What is amazing is that many miss this very important time of Yahweh’s plan for the ages.  Let’s review what Scriptures have to say.

First we see that after the 1,000-year reign of Messiah, Satan is loosed for a season and the rest of the dead not resurrected to glory at the 2nd coming of Messiah are resurrected.

Revelation 20:1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.   2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,   3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.   4 And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of YahwehShua, and for the word of Yahweh, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Messiah a thousand years.   5 But the rest of the dead lived not again until the thousand years were finished. This is the first resurrection.   6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of Yahweh and of Messiah, and shall reign with him a thousand years.   7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,

Isaiah 26:19 Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.

Satan will be let loose after Messiah’s 1,000-year reign for “a little season”.  As we continue to read in Revelation, it is clear this time frame is not for a few days but an extended period of time, when Satan will again deceive the nations and many deceived by Satan will come against the Holy City of Jerusalem, where Yahweh Messiah resides as King of kings and Sovereign of sovereigns.

An interesting note to the following Scriptures in Revelation is that those deceived by Satan, who come against the Holy City of Jerusalem, are “the number of whom is as the sand of the sea”.  Therefore it appears many will be deceived.

Revelation 20:7 And when the thousand years are expired, Satan shall be loosed out of his prison,  8 And shall go out to deceive the nations which are in the four quarters of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle: the number of whom is as the sand of the sea.   9 And they went up on the breadth of the earth, and compassed the camp of the saints about, and the beloved city: and fire came down from Yahweh out of heaven, and devoured them.

The nations, under Satan, will again make war during the Last Great Day.  We find the nations again preparing for war in the contrast between the prophets Isaiah and Micah and the prophet Joel.  The prophets Isaiah and Micah talk about a time (i.e. 1,000-year reign) when weapons are turned into plowshares and pruning hooks.  This is a time of no war.  This prophesied time is a direct contrast to the prophet Joel who talks about a time (i.e. The Last Great Day) when plowshares and pruning hooks are turned into weapons.  This is a time of war against the Holy City where Yahweh Messiah resides.

Isaiah 2:2 And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of Yahweh’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it.   3 And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of Yahweh, to the house of the El of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of Yahweh from Jerusalem.   4 And he shall judge among the nations, and shall rebuke many people: and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.  (Also see Micah 4:1-3)

Joel 3:9 Proclaim ye this among the Gentiles; Prepare war, wake up the mighty men, let all the men of war draw near; let them come up:   10 Beat your plowshares into swords, and your pruninghooks into spears: let the weak say, I am strong.   11 Assemble yourselves, and come, all ye heathen, and gather yourselves together round about: thither cause thy mighty ones to come down, O Yahweh.   12 Let the heathen be wakened, and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat: for there will I sit to judge all the heathen round about.   13 Put ye in the sickle, for the harvest is ripe: come, get you down; for the press is full, the vats overflow; for their wickedness is great.   14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for the day of Yahweh is near in the valley of decision.   15 The sun and the moon shall be darkened, and the stars shall withdraw their shining.   16 Yahweh also shall roar out of Zion, and utter his voice from Jerusalem; and the heavens and the earth shall shake: but Yahweh will be the hope of his people, and the strength of the children of Israel.   17 So shall ye know that I am Yahweh your Elohim dwelling in Zion, my holy mountain: then shall Jerusalem be holy, and there shall no strangers pass through her any more.

As we have already discussed, Scriptures indicate that there is a time period after the 1,000-year reign of Messiah on earth when Satan is let loose for a season to deceive the nations.  But who makes up the nations during this period of time?  It is clear through the revelation of YahwehShua that the rest of the dead who are resurrected after the 1,000-year reign of Messiah will make up the bulk of the nations.  As a side note, there is a possibility that some human beings will still be alive from Messiah’s 1,000-year reign on earth.

Billions of people will be resurrected from the previous ages.  Messiah’s 1,000-year kingdom on earth, ruled by Yahweh Messiah and glorified believers who are priests and kings, will prepare for this event.  There must be clothing, food, and shelter for this great mass resurrection from the dead.   Think about the magnitude of this event.  If there are as many as 100 billion people resurrected to flesh-and-blood existence and they live in sustainable cities of 1,000,000 each, there would need to be 100,000 cities ready and waiting complete with clothing, food, and shelter.

How do we know that this resurrection is a flesh-and-blood resurrection, not a resurrection to a glorified body?  Let us answer this question through Scriptures.

Ezekiel 37:1 The hand of Yahweh was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of Yahweh, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones,   2 And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry.   3 And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Sovereign Yahweh, thou knowest.   4 Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of Yahweh.   5 Thus saith Sovereign Yahweh unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live:   6 And I will lay sinews upon you, and will bring up flesh upon you, and cover you with skin, and put breath in you, and ye shall live; and ye shall know that I am Yahweh.   7 So I prophesied as I was commanded: and as I prophesied, there was a noise, and behold a shaking, and the bones came together, bone to his bone.   8 And when I beheld, lo, the sinews and the flesh came up upon them, and the skin covered them above: but there was no breath in them.   9 Then said he unto me, Prophesy unto the wind, prophesy, son of man, and say to the wind, Thus saith Sovereign Yahweh; Come from the four winds, O breath, and breathe upon these slain, that they may live.   10 So I prophesied as he commanded me, and the breath came into them, and they lived, and stood up upon their feet, an exceeding great army.   11 Then he said unto me, Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel: behold, they say, Our bones are dried, and our hope is lost: we are cut off for our parts.   12 Therefore prophesy and say unto them, Thus saith Sovereign Yahweh; Behold, O my people, I will open your graves, and cause you to come up out of your graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.   13 And ye shall know that I am Yahweh, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves,   14 And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I Yahweh have spoken it, and performed it, saith Yahweh.

Although this prophecy is about the whole house of Israel, we know that Yahweh is not a respecter of persons.

Acts 10:34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that Yahweh is no respecter of persons:   35 But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.

Romans 2:10 But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:   11 For there is no respect of persons with Yahweh.

Deuteronomy 10:17 For Yahweh your Elohim is Elohim of elohims, and Sovereign of sovereigns, a great Elohim, a mighty, and a terrible, which regardeth not persons, nor taketh reward:

When Yahweh is talking about “Israel”, He is really talking about His people.   The definition of the Hebrew word “Israel” (#3478) is “Yahweh prevails” or “He will rule as Yahweh” (Strong’s Concordance).  The meaning of the word “Israel” is about Yahweh and His people, not blood-line Israel!  Believers today who are given His spirit and obey Yahweh’s commandments are considered “spiritual Jews” or “Israel”.  For more information on why those who obey Yahweh are “spiritual Jews” or “Israel”, please read “Spiritually Jewish like my Savior”.

Romans 9:6 Not as though the word of Yahweh hath taken none effect. For they are not all Israel, which are of Israel:   7 Neither, because they are the seed of Abraham, are they all children: but, In Isaac shall thy seed be called.   8 That is, They which are the children of the flesh, these are not the children of Yahweh: but the children of the promise are counted for the seed.

Romans 2:28 For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:   29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of Yahweh.

Romans 11:16 For if the firstfruit be holy, the lump is also holy: and if the root be holy, so are the branches.   17 And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert graffed in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree.  18 Boast not against the branches. But if thou boast, thou bearest not the root, but the root thee.

Therefore the whole house of Israel that were brought out of the graves and given His Spirit refers to the time when the rest of the dead are resurrected after Messiah’s 1,000-year reign (Revelation 20:5).

Another reason it must be a flesh-and-blood resurrection not a resurrection to a glorified body is that Scriptures state that those resurrected to glory at Messiah’s Second Coming will not experience the second death.   Therefore there must be a second death for non-believers in a future age.  There will be a second death during the Last Great Day for those who turn away from the truth after they receive the Holy Spirit.  Later in this article we will discuss the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, the final judgment of mankind, and the Lake of Fire which results in the second death.

Revelation 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of Yahweh and of Messiah, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Revelation 2:11 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the assemblies; He that overcometh shall not be hurt of the second death.

Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

So the rest of the dead who were not glorified at Messiah’s Second Coming are resurrected to flesh-and-blood existence at the end of Messiah’s 1,000-year reign on this earth.  And to fulfill the prophecy in Joel, the “rest of the dead”, who were never given Yahweh’s Holy Spirit in a previous age, are given His Spirit.

Joel 2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions:

Acts 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith Yahweh, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

Ephesians 5:8 For ye were sometimes darkness, but now are ye light in Yahweh: walk as children of light:   9 (For the fruit of the Spirit is in all goodness and righteousness and truth;)   10 Proving what is acceptable unto Yahweh.   11 And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.   12 For it is a shame even to speak of those things which are done of them in secret.   13 But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.   14 Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Messiah shall give thee light.

Ezekiel 37:13 And ye shall know that I am Yahweh, when I have opened your graves, O my people, and brought you up out of your graves,   14 And shall put my spirit in you, and ye shall live, and I shall place you in your own land: then shall ye know that I Yahweh have spoken it, and performed it, saith Yahweh.

And being Holy Spirit filled, every man during the Last Great Day will know Yahweh and His Word!

Jeremiah 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel; After those days, saith Yahweh, I will put my law in their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their Elohim, and they shall be my people.   34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know Yahweh: for they shall all know me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith Yahweh: for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.

Ezekiel 36:25 Then will I sprinkle clean water upon you, and ye shall be clean: from all your filthiness, and from all your idols, will I cleanse you.   26 A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh.   27 And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

Yah’shua explains that this resurrection of the “rest of the dead” after Messiah’s 1,000-year reign is not from an eternal hell or from a state of final judgment, like many Christians believe.  In fact, why would Yahweh give His Spirit to resurrected man during the Last Great Day if He was already judged to condemnation?

John 5:28 Marvel not at this: for the hour is coming, in the which all that are in the graves shall hear his voice,   29 And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation.

Daniel 12:2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

Read it slowly: “all that are in the graves shall hear his voice”.  This has to do with the resurrection from the dead and the infilling of the Holy Spirit after Messiah’s 1,000-year reign!  We know that at the Second Coming of Messiah, those who were sealed by His Spirit, will be resurrected to glory.  Therefore “all that are in the graves” must be talking about the beginning of the Last Great Day, when the rest of the dead are resurrected to flesh-and-blood existence, given Yahweh Messiah’s Spirit (i.e. hear His voice), and will choose either to do good or evil.  They will know the truth and will have a choice to follow Yahweh or to fall away.  “They that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation” (see John 5:29 above).

Have you ever wondered what will happen to the billions of people who have died, never learning of Messiah and His evangel?  Many Christian denominations claim those people, in most cases by no fault of their own, will burn in hell forever.  But would a just, merciful, and loving Mighty One really do this?  Does this sound like fair judgment?  The Scriptural answer is no. The Almighty does not consign billions of people who died, never learning of Messiah and His evangel, to an eternal state of torture.  It is clear that Yahweh is not a respecter of persons and will pour out His Holy Spirit on all flesh.  Yahweh wants all to come to repentance and the knowledge of the truth!

Colossians 1:23 If ye continue in the faith grounded and settled, and be not moved away from the hope of the evangel, which ye have heard, and which was preached to every creature which is under heaven; whereof I Paul am made a minister;

John 1:7 The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe.   8 He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.   9 That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world.

2 Peter 3:9 Yahweh is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

1 Timothy 2:3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of Yahweh our Saviour;   4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

The culmination of the outpouring of His Holy Spirit on all flesh has to be finalized when the “rest of the dead” are resurrected to flesh-and-blood existence during the Last Great Day.  The Scriptures will no longer be a mysterious puzzle for these human beings.  They will be taught the truth of Yahweh by the Holy Spirit and will have many years to prove that they are willing to walk in Yahweh’s way.

One of the keys is to understand that the Holy Spirit leads us into all truth and righteousness.  Understanding of Yahweh’s ways does not come from religious denominations, or from friends, or casual reading of the Holy Scriptures, or from religious books, tapes and radio.  Without the Holy Spirit, we cannot understand Yahweh’s truth.

1 Corinthians 2:10 But Yahweh hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of Yahweh. 11 For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of Yahweh knoweth no man, but the Spirit of Yahweh. 12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of Yahweh; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of Yahweh. 13 Which things also we speak, not in the words which man’s wisdom teacheth, but which the Holy Spirit teacheth; comparing spiritual things with spiritual. 14 But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of Yahweh: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

1 John 2:27 But the anointing which ye have received of him abideth in you, and ye need not that any man teach you: but as the same anointing teacheth you of all things, and is truth, and is no lie, and even as it hath taught you, ye shall abide in him.

John 14:25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.   26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, it shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. (also see John 16:13-14)

Ephesians 1:17 That the El of our Sovereign YahwehShua Messiah, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:   18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

To put it another way, to obey Yahweh we must have spiritual revelation and spiritual revelation comes from the Holy Spirit!  There was a time of ignorance that Yahweh winked at, but during the Last Great Day when many will have access to the Holy Spirit, Yahweh commands everyone to repent and to obey the evangel of Yahweh.

Acts 17:30 And the times of this ignorance Yahweh winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:   31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained;

1 Peter 4:17 For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of Yahweh: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the evangel of Yahweh?

So the rest of the dead not resurrected to glory at Messiah’s Second Coming are resurrected to flesh-and-blood existence after Messiah’s 1,000-year reign on earth.  At their resurrection, all flesh that had not quenched the Holy Spirit in a previous age is given Yahweh’s Holy Spirit.  Why can’t someone receive the Holy Spirit a second time?

2 Peter 2:20 For if after they have escaped the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Sovereign and Saviour YahwehShua Messiah, they are again entangled therein, and overcome, the latter end is worse with them than the beginning.   21 For it had been better for them not to have known the way of righteousness, than, after they have known it, to turn from the holy commandment delivered unto them.   22 But it is happened unto them according to the true proverb, The dog is turned to his own vomit again; and the sow that was washed to her wallowing in the mire.

Hebrews 6:4 For it is impossible for those who were once enlightened, and have tasted of the heavenly gift, and were made partakers of the Holy Spirit,   5 And have tasted the good word of Yahweh, and the powers of the world to come,   6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of Yahweh afresh, and put him to an open shame.   7 For the earth which drinketh in the rain that cometh oft upon it, and bringeth forth herbs meet for them by whom it is dressed, receiveth blessing from Yahweh:   8 But that which beareth thorns and briers is rejected, and is nigh unto cursing; whose end is to be burned.

Hebrews 10:26 For if we sin wilfully after that we have received the knowledge of the truth, there remaineth no more sacrifice for sins,   27 But a certain fearful looking for of judgment and fiery indignation, which shall devour the adversaries.   28 He that despised Moses’ law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:   29 Of how much sorer punishment, suppose ye, shall he be thought worthy, who hath trodden under foot the Son of Yahweh, and hath counted the blood of the covenant, wherewith he was sanctified, an unholy thing, and hath done despite unto the Spirit of grace?   30 For we know him that hath said, Vengeance belongeth unto me, I will recompense, saith Yahweh. And again, Yahweh shall judge his people.   31 It is a fearful thing to fall into the hands of the living Elohim.

And after receiving the Holy Spirit, those resurrected from the dead during the beginning of The Last Great Day will have to repent and be water baptized, possibly like the house of Cornelius where all were water baptized after receiving the Holy Spirit.

Acts 10:24 And the morrow after they entered into Caesarea. And Cornelius waited for them, and had called together his kinsmen and near friends.   25 And as Peter was coming in, Cornelius met him, and fell down at his feet, and worshipped him.   26 But Peter took him up, saying, Stand up; I myself also am a man.   27 And as he talked with him, he went in, and found many that were come together.

34 Then Peter opened his mouth, and said, Of a truth I perceive that Yahweh is no respecter of persons:   35 But in every nation he that feareth him, and worketh righteousness, is accepted with him.   36 The word which Yahweh sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by YahwehShua Messiah: (he is Soverign of all

43 To him give all the prophets witness, that through his name whosoever believeth in him shall receive remission of sins.   44 While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Spirit fell on all them which heard the word.   45 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy Spirit.   46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify Yahweh. Then answered Peter,   47 Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy Spirit as well as we?   48 And he commanded them to be baptized in the name of the Sovereign. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.

A few interesting notes about water baptism.  The first underline shows that through the name of Yahweh(Shua) we receive remission of sins, making the name Yahweh(Shua) critical in water baptism.  The word “commanded” was also underlined.  According to Peter, water baptism was not an option, even though they had already received the Holy Spirit.  So it makes sense that during the Last Great Day, those who receive Yahweh’s Spirit would have to be water baptized.  For more information on water baptism, please read “Does a believer need to be water baptized for salvation?”

And not only will those resurrected and given Yahweh’s Holy Spirit have to repent and be water baptized, they will have to obey Yahweh’s Word to the end of this future age.  Just like this age, obedience will be difficult because of man’s carnal nature and since Satan again will have his way deceiving mankind (Revelation 20:7).  It appears that between man’s carnal nature and Satan’s deceptions many will fall away from the truth and quench the spirit (Revelation 20:8).

A possible time frame for this last age of the ages is indicated by the prophet Isaiah.  Isaiah prophesies a time period, which may be tied to the Last Great Day, of 100 years.  As you read the following verse, remember that in the Scriptures, a believer is sometimes described as a child (Matthew 18:3-5), while a non-believer is sometimes described as a sinner.

Isaiah 65:20 There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed.

We all know that numbers have meaning in the Scriptures.  We also know that the age of accountability is 20 years old (see Numbers 14:29 and Exodus 30:14 and 38:26).  We can speculate that if we add the age of accountability plus 100 years for the Last Great Day we get 120 years.  These 120 years may have parallel meaning with the prophecy given to Noah, which indicates that Yahweh’s Spirit shall not always strive with man whose days shall be 120 years.

Genesis 6:3 And Yahweh said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.

The end of the Last Great Day (100 years?) culminates in the “White Throne Judgment”, the Lake of Fire, the destruction of the existing Heavens and Earth replaced by a New Heavens and Earth, and the reconciliation of unrepentant man who was destroyed by the Lake of Fire (i.e. the second death).  Let us pick up where we left off in Revelation 20.

Revelation 20:11 And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them.   12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before Yahweh; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.

Let us start with a few clarifications about the previous verse.  First of all the “him” that sat on the white throne is Messiah.  Scriptures are clear that Messiah has been given all judgment.  And according to 2 Timothy, there will be two times of judgment.  The first judgment occurs when Messiah appears at His Second Coming.  At this time He will judge the saints of this age and prior ages.  The second judgment is at the end of His earthly kingdom, A/K/A the Last Great Day.

2 Timothy 4:1 I charge thee therefore before Yahweh, and the Sovereign Yahweh Messiah, who shall judge (2919) the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;

2919 krino {kree’-no}  •  perhaps a primitive word; TDNT – 3:921,469; v •  AV – judge 88, determine 7, condemn 5, go to law 2, call in question 2, esteem 2, misc 8; 114 •  1) to separate, put asunder, to pick out, select, choose 2) to approve, esteem, to prefer 3) to be of opinion,  deem, think, to be of opinion 4) to determine, resolve, decree 5) to judge 5a) to pronounce an opinion concerning  right and wrong 5a1) to be judged, i.e. summoned to trial that one’s case may be examined and judgment passed  upon it 5b) to pronounce judgment, to subject to censure 5b1) of those who act the part of judges or arbiters in  matters of common life, or pass judgment on the deeds and words of others 6) to rule, govern 6a) to preside over  with the power of giving judicial decisions, because it was the prerogative of kings and rulers to pass judgment 7)  to contend together, of warriors and combatants 7a) to dispute 7b) in a forensic sense 7b1) to go to law, have suit  at law

John 5:21 For as the Father raiseth up the dead, and quickeneth them; even so the Son quickeneth whom he will.   22 For the Father judgeth no man, but hath committed all judgment unto the Son:

“The dead” in Revelation 20:12 referred to above were those resurrected from the grave after Messiah’s 1,000-year reign.  “The books” refers to the books of the Bible, the “Book of Life”, and possibly a book that records each persons conduct during their life.  In fact this Greek word 975 biblion {bib-lee’-on} is where we get the English word “Bible”.  “The books” are used to judge whether those resurrected from the grave after Messiah’s 1,000-year reign on earth obeyed Yahweh’s Word.  “The dead” are judged according to their works based on those things which were written in the Bible.  “The Book of Life”, contains the names of those who obeyed Yahweh’s Word who will become Firstborn, the Bride of Messiah, will enter New Jerusalem by the gates, and will receive Yahweh’s inheritance.

Think about this: saints of this age and prior ages have already been judged and resurrected to glory at Messiah’s Second Coming.  So, who are these new saints in the Book of Life during the White Throne Judgement?  It has to be those saints who were resurrected from the dead after Messiah’s 1,000-year reign who obeyed Messiah until the end of the Last Great Day.

Revelation 20:14 And death and hell (#86-hades better translated grave) were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death.   15 And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.

Note that in Revelation 20:14, death and the grave are destroyed by the lake of fire along with those not found in the Book of Life, including those who were called to holiness in past ages, but rejected Yahweh and His Word and quenched the Holy Spirit.  This is the Second Death.  But after the Second Death, there is no more death, only life because death and the grave have been destroyed.  This effectively suspends the power of Satan over death.

Hebrews 2:14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh-and-blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;

1 John 3:8 He that committeth sin is of the devil; for the devil sinneth from the beginning. For this purpose the Son of Yahweh was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil.

Up until this point we have purposely skipped verse 10 in Revelation 20 so we can now focus on what happens to Satan and his dominion (i.e. demons or fallen angels).  These fallen angels that have followed Satan will be judged on this great day along with Satan.

Revelation 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever (165-aion better translated for the ages).

Jude 6 And the angels which kept not their first estate, but left their own habitation, he hath reserved in everlasting chains under darkness unto the judgment of the great day.

2 Peter 2:4 For if Yahweh spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;

165 aion {ahee-ohn’}  •  from the same as 104; TDNT – 1:197,31; n m •  AV – ever 71, world 38, never + 3364 + 1519 + 3588 6, evermore 4, age 2, eternal 2, misc 5; 128 •  1) for ever, an unbroken age, perpetuity of time, eternity 2) the worlds, universe 3) period of time, age

As you may have noticed, the word “are” above in Revelation 20:10 is italicized, which means it was added by the translators.  This verse should read “were” cast because the original Greek is past tense.  Just like man who did not repent during the Last Great Day, the Beast, the False Prophet, and Satan are destroyed and become ashes under believers’ feet (Malachi 4:1-3).  The word “are” is added by the translators making it sound like the Lake of Fire is an eternal condition when actually the Lake of Fire is finite and non- existent in the New Heavens and Earth.

We also have translator bias with the Greek word “aion”, which is translated “for ever and ever”.  A better translation of this Greek word is “age” or “ages”.  For more detailed information on this, please read “Yahweh’s Supreme Love”.

We see in Isaiah 14 that Satan appears to be made flesh before he is cast into the Lake of Fire.

Isaiah 14:12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!   13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of Elohim: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:   14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.   15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell (7585-sheol, better translated grave), to the sides of the pit.   16 They that see thee shall narrowly look upon thee, and consider thee, saying, Is this the man that made the earth to tremble, that did shake kingdoms;

Why are Satan, the beast, and the false prophet cast into the Lake of Fire first?  Once the angels gather all that offends, Satan and his dominion are dealt with so all of mankind can see.  This demonstrates Yahweh’s ultimate authority and power to all mankind.

The only ones remaining just prior to the New Heavens and Earth are the inheritors of the Kingdom…the soon-to-be family of Yahweh!

1 Corinthians 15:22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Messiah shall all be made alive.   23 But every man in his own order: Messiah the firstfruits (resurrected to glorified life); afterward they that are Messiah’s at his coming (resurrected to glorified life).   24 Then cometh the end (resurrected to glorified life), when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to Yahweh, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.

So the resurrections to glorified life are as follows:  First we know that Messiah is the Firstfruit of the resurrection.  We also know that those believers in this age and previous ages will also be glorified at Messiah’s Second Coming.  These believers are also called the Firstfruits of the resurrection.  In the Last Great Day, after Messiah’s 1,000-year reign on earth, those resurrected to flesh-and-blood existence, who are given the Holy Spirit, repent, are water baptized, and obey Yahweh’s commandments for 100 years (?), will be part of  a third resurrection to glory.

Did you know that Yahweh’s feasts are tied to agricultural harvests? Notice the word harvests is plural.  And in the Scriptures multiple agricultural harvests symbolize multiple spiritual harvests of mankind.   The Last Great Day is the final spiritual harvest of mankind.

Matthew 13:24 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:   25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.   26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.   27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?   28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?   29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.   30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;  38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;  39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world (165-aion); and the reapers are the angels.  40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world (165-aion).   41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;   42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Revelation 14:15 And another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him that sat on the cloud, Thrust in thy sickle, and reap: for the time is come for thee to reap; for the harvest of the earth is ripe.   16 And he that sat on the cloud thrust in his sickle on the earth; and the earth was reaped.

Matthew 25:32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:   33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.   34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting (166-aionios) fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

These multiple “spiritual” harvests of mankind are also illustrated by the early and latter rains which represent the harvests of crops and men.

James 5:7 Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Sovereign. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.

Deuteronomy 11:13 And it shall come to pass, if ye shall hearken diligently unto my commandments which I command you this day, to love Yahweh your Elohim, and to serve him with all your heart and with all your soul,   14 That I will give you the rain of your land in his due season, the first rain and the latter rain, that thou mayest gather in thy corn, and thy wine, and thine oil.

Jeremiah 5:24 Neither say they in their heart, Let us now fear Yahweh our Elohim, that giveth rain, both the former and the latter, in his season: he reserveth unto us the appointed weeks of the harvest.

Not only is there an early and latter rain, which implies multiple harvests of crops and men, we have the word “firstfruits” which implies additional fruit to come.

James 1:18 Of his own will begat he us with the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.

Revelation 14:4 These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These are they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were redeemed from among men, being the firstfruits unto Yahweh and to the Lamb.

So it is clear from Scriptures that there is a third resurrection to glory at the end of the ages (i.e. The Last Great Day).  Let us continue with what happens after the Lake of Fire when Satan and his dominion and unrepentant man are destroyed (i.e. the Second Death).  After the last unrepentant sinner is destroyed, the existing Heavens and Earth will be dissolved by fire and there will be a New Heavens and Earth.

2 Peter 3:10 But the day of Yahweh will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.   11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and righteousness,   12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of Yahweh, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?   13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

Isaiah 65:17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.   18 But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.   19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.

Revelation 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.   2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from Yahweh out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

With death and the grave destroyed by the Lake of Fire and the coming of the New Heavens and Earth, life triumphs over death.  All mankind will be given life including unrepentant man in the New Heavens and Earth.  Yahweh makes all things new.  For more information on this very important topic of the reconciliation of mankind, please read “Yahweh’s Supreme Love”.

Revelation 21:3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of Yahweh is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and Yahweh himself shall be with them, and be their Elohim.  4 And Yahweh shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.   5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

All of mankind ever created will be incorruptible and immortal.  Those who did Yahweh’s will shall have the right to enter New Jerusalem (Revelation 22:14) where Yahweh and His Lamb reside. Those who did not repent will be outside New Jerusalem (Revelation 21:27 and 22:15).  Yahweh’s final solution for all of mankind who ever lived is life!

Luke 20:38 For he is not a Elohim of the dead, but of the living: for all live unto him.

John 6:32 Then Yah’shua said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Moses gave you not that bread from heaven; but my Father giveth you the true bread from heaven.   33 For the bread of Elohim is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world (2889-kosmos).

2889 kosmos {kos’-mos} • probably from the base of 2865; TDNT – 3:868,459; n m • AV – world 186, adorning 1; 187 • 1) an apt and harmonious arrangement or constitution, order, government 2) ornament, decoration, adornment, i.e. the arrangement of the stars, ‘the heavenly hosts’, as the ornament of the heavens. 1 Pet. 3:3 3) the world, the universe 4) the circle of the earth, the earth

John 3:17 For Yahweh sent not his Son into the world (2889-kosmos) to condemn the world (2889-kosmos); but that the world (2889-kosmos) through him might be saved.

2 Timothy 4:10 For therefore we both labour and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living Elohim, who is the Saviour of all men, specially of those that believe.   11 These things command and teach.

Luke states that all live unto him.  Read it slowly…all, not some or those who believe.  Paul’s letter to Timothy confirms that the living Elohim is the Savior of all men, especially of those who believe.  Lastly, John confirms this by saying that Messiah came down from Heaven to give life to the world.  Again, not just for believers.

In the New Heavens and Earth, there will be no more sin.  And because there is no sin, there will be no death, sorrow, crying, or pain.  And because there is no sin, mankind is able to be with Yahweh and His Lamb.  So Yahweh’s plan for the ages culminates in the reconciliation of mankind in the New Heavens and Earth.

Colossians 1:20 And, having made peace through the blood of his stake, by him to reconcile all things unto himself; by him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in heaven.   21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works, yet now hath he reconciled   22 In the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and unblameable and unreproveable in his sight:

2 Corinthians 5:18  And all things are of YAHWEH, who hath reconciled us to himself by YahwehShua Messiah, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation; 19 To wit, that YAHWEH was in Messiah, reconciling the world (2889-kosmos) to himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation.”

Acts 3:20 And he shall send YahwehShua Messiah, which before was preached unto you:   21 Whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which Yahweh hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

Romans 5:10 For if, when we were enemies, we were reconciled to Yahweh by the death of his Son, much more, being reconciled, we shall be saved by his life.

Romans 11:15 For if the casting away of them (Israel) be the reconciling of the world (2889-kosmos), what shall the receiving of them be, but life from the dead?

Romans 11:32 For Yahweh hath concluded them all in unbelief, that he might have mercy upon all.   33 O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of Yahweh! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!

John 12:30 Yah’shua answered and said, This voice came not because of me, but for your sakes.   31 Now is the judgment of this world: now shall the prince of this world be cast out.   32 And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me.

It is clear that death and the grave are destroyed in the Lake of Fire and that Yahweh Messiah has defeated Satan who had power over death (Hebrew 2:14).  Over and over in the Scriptures we read that Yahweh’s last enemy, death, has been defeated.  HalleluYah!!!

1 Corinthians 15:20 But now is Messiah risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.   21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.   22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Messiah shall all be made alive.   23 But every man in his own order: Messiah the firstfruits; afterward they that are Messiah’s at his coming.   24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to Yahweh, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.  25 For he [The Son] must reign, till he [The Father] hath put all enemies under his [The Son’s] feet.  26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.

1 Corinthian 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,   52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.   53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.   54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.   55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

2 Corinthian 5:4 For we that are in this tabernacle do groan, being burdened: not for that we would be unclothed, but clothed upon, that mortality might be swallowed up of life.

Romans 8:20 For the creature (creation) was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of him who hath subjected the same in hope,   21 Because the creature (creation) itself also shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption into the glorious liberty of the children of Elohim.

Isaiah 25:8 He will swallow up death in victory; and Yahweh Elohim will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for Yahweh hath spoken it.

The unrepentant who are outside the gates of New Jerusalem are the same ones who were previously destroyed in the Lake of Fire (Revelation 21:4).  They are reconciled (i.e. given life) but are not allowed to enter through the gates of New Jerusalem where Yahweh and the Lamb reside.

The key is understanding that the unrepentant are not saved “IN” YahwehShua, that is sealed by the Holy Spirit and having the Spirit of Messiah formed in them, but reconciled through His death, burial, and resurrection.  Thus Yahweh has fulfilled His promise of reconciling the world through Messiah.

Being saved “IN” YahwehShua involves repentance and obedience.  Reconciliation of the unrepentant means living eternally without sin, pain, sorrow, or death in the New Heavens and Earth outside of New Jerusalem. Those outside the gates who were unrepentant do not receive the reward of inheritance (see parable of the prodigal son), are not considered the Firstborn, or the Bride of Messiah, and can never enter the gates of New Jerusalem.

And for believers who can enter the gates,  the physical description of New Jerusalem sounds like paradise (Revelation 21:9-21) and is where our Father has many mansions waiting for us.

John 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in Yahweh, believe also in me.   2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

The kingdom of the Father begins when the Son turns over His earthly kingdom to the Father at the New Heavens and Earth.  This gets back to the reason the Last Great Day is called the “eighth day” in Scriptures. The number eight in Scriptures symbolizes a new beginning. The New Heavens and Earth is a new beginning for all of mankind.

Note that there are things which offend in the kingdom of the Son on earth (Zechariah 14:16-19), but are not present in the kingdom of the Father in the new Heavens and Earth, where the righteous shine as the sun.

1 Corinthians 15:24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to Yahweh, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.  25 For he [The Son] must reign, till he [The Father] hath put all enemies under his [The Son’s] feet.  26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.  27 For he [The Father] hath put all things under his [The Son’s] feet. But when he [The Father] saith all things are put under him [The Son], it is manifest that he [The Father] is excepted, which did put all things under him [The Son].  28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him [The Father], then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him [The Father] that put all things under him [The Son], that Yahweh may be all in all.

Matthew 13:41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;  42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.  43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Daniel 12:2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.   3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

And in New Jerusalem believers will be with Yahweh and his Lamb for eternity.

Revelation 21:22 And I saw no temple therein: for Yahweh El Shaddai and the Lamb are the temple of it.   23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of Yahweh did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.   24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.   25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.

Revelation 22:3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of Yahweh and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:   4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.   5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for Yahweh Elohim giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.

Yahweh’s plan for the ages, symbolized by His Feast Days, shows an incredible journey that believers look forward to.  Yahweh’s plan for the ages culminates at the end of Last Great Day with the New Heavens and Earth.  Although we can comprehend some of Yahweh’s plan for the ages, we only have a glimpse of our glorious future.  As Paul quoted the prophet Isaiah in 1 Corinthians 2:9 “Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which Elohim hath prepared for them that love him.” and plainly stated in 13:12 “For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known”.

HalleluYah
