The Reward

How will Yahweh reward believers of this age who believe, repent, are baptized in the name of YahwehShua, receive the Holy Spirit from the laying on of hands, and obey Yahweh and His Word until the Second Coming of Messiah?   As we answer this question, we will give special attention to the 1,000-year reign of Messiah.

First of all, we can lay claim that we will be rewarded for our work of obedience to Yahweh.

Jeremiah 31:16 Thus saith Yahweh; Refrain thy voice from weeping, and thine eyes from tears: for thy work shall be rewarded, saith Yahweh; (also see 2 Samuel 22:21-25 and 2 Chronicles 15:7)

Revelation 22:12 And, behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to give every man according as his work shall be.   13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.   14 Blessed are they that do his commandments, that they may have right to the tree of life, and may enter in through the gates into the city.

1 Corinthians 3:12 Now if any man build upon this foundation (i.e. Messiah) gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;   13 Every man’s work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man’s work of what sort it is.   14 If any man’s work abide which he hath built thereupon (i.e. foundation of Messiah), he shall receive a reward.

Matthew 16:27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

And one of the great rewards saints will receive for their obedience to the Word is being part of the first resurrection at Messiah’s Second Coming and becoming Priests and Kings with Messiah for 1,000 years!

Revelation 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of Yahweh and of Messiah, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

Revelation 1:5 And from YahwehShua Messiah, who is the faithful witness, and the first begotten of the dead, and the prince of the kings of the earth. Unto him that loved us, and washed us from our sins in his own blood,   6 And hath made us kings and priests unto Mighty One and his Father; to him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.

Exodus 19:5 Now therefore, if ye will obey my voice indeed, and keep my covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto me above all people: for all the earth is mine:   6 And ye shall be unto me a kingdom of priests, and an holy nation. These are the words which thou shalt speak unto the children of Israel.

Revelation 3:21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.   22 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the assemblies.

By becoming Priests and Kings (i.e. royalty) with Messiah at His Second Coming, believers shall be rewarded with the crown of righteousness (i.e. cannot sin), the crown of life (i.e. cannot die), and the crown of glory (i.e. become like Messiah); rewards that do not fade away.  More on this later!

2 Timothy 4:7 I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:   8 Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Sovereign, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

James 1:12 Blessed is the man that endureth temptation: for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life, which the Sovereign hath promised to them that love him.

1 Peter 5:1 The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Messiah, and also a partaker of the glory that shall be revealed:   2 Feed the flock of Yahweh which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;   3 Neither as being lords over Yahweh’s heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.   4 And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.

And we know that the 1,000-year kingdom of Messiah will be on earth.  Therefore saints will be Priests and Kings with Messiah while He rules on Earth, administrators of our Savior’s righteousness.  What an amazing reward!

Revelation 5:9 And they sung a new song, saying, Thou art worthy to take the book, and to open the seals thereof: for thou wast slain, and hast redeemed us to Yahweh by thy blood out of every kindred, and tongue, and people, and nation;   10 And hast made us unto our Elohim kings and priests: and we shall reign on the earth.

Matthew 6:9 After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.   10 Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

Daniel 7:27 And the kingdom and dominion, and the greatness of the kingdom under the whole heaven, shall be given to the people of the saints of the most High, whose kingdom is an everlasting kingdom, and all dominions shall serve and obey him.

Revelation 11:15 And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Yahweh, and of his Messiah; and he shall reign for ever and ever.

Jeremiah 23:5 Behold, the days come, saith Yahweh, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.

Zechariah 14:9 And Yahweh shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Yahweh, and his name one.

Psalm 46:10 Be still, and know that I am Elohim: I will be exalted among the heathen, I will be exalted in the earth.

As Priests and Kings, saints will be signs and wonders to those flesh and blood people remaining on earth!

Isaiah 8:18 Behold, I and the children whom Yahweh hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from Yahweh of hosts, which dwelleth in mount Zion.

Not only will saints be Priests and Kings when we are resurrected when Messiah returns, we will also be rewarded by being like Messiah (see appendix A) and we shall see Him as He is!!!  Saints will not longer be flesh and blood influenced by our carnal nature.

1 John 3:2 Beloved, now are we the sons of Yahweh, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

Psalm 17:15 As for me, I will behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.

Romans 8:18 For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.   19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of Yahweh.

Colossians 3:1 If ye then be risen with Messiah, seek those things which are above, where Messiah sitteth on the right hand of Yahweh.   2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.   3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Messiah in Yahweh.   4 When Messiah, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory.

Philippians 3:20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Sovereign YahwehShua Messiah:   21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.

If saints will be like Messiah, it follows that we shall resemble him physically.  Here are some Scriptures describing how Messiah looked to men at times.

Revelation 1:12 And I turned to see the voice that spake with me. And being turned, I saw seven golden candlesticks;   13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks one like unto the Son of man, clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.   14 His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire;   15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.   16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp twoedged sword: and his countenance was as the sun shineth in his strength.

Daniel 10:5 Then I lifted up mine eyes, and looked, and behold a certain man clothed in linen, whose loins were girded with fine gold of Uphaz:   6 His body also was like the beryl, and his face as the appearance of lightning, and his eyes as lamps of fire, and his arms and his feet like in colour to polished brass, and the voice of his words like the voice of a multitude.

Although saints today have access to the love and peace of Messiah, our carnal nature can get in the way of that love and peace.  When we are glorified to be like Messiah and know Him, saints will have at all times the love and peace of Messiah that passes knowledge and understanding!

Ephesians 3:19 And to know the love of Messiah, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of Yahweh.

Philippians 4:7 And the peace of Yahweh, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Messiah YahwehShua.

And we cannot sin any more!  While believers continue to sin in this present age, another reward we will enjoy at the first resurrection is the inability to sin.  Remember as we just read in 1 John 3:2, at our resurrection, saints will be like Messiah who knows no sin.

1 Corinthians 15:42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:   43 It is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:

53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

Believers who are part of the first resurrection will not marry. Therefore the Scriptural husband-wife relationship will no longer apply.  Why won’t saints be able to marry?  Over and Over in the Scriptures we see that saints will be the bride of Messiah (Ephesians 5:23, 31-32 and Revelation 19:7-8, 21:2)

Luke 20:34 And Yah’shua answering said unto them, The children of this world marry, and are given in marriage:   35 But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:

And saints during the 1,000 year reign will have the option of eating like Messiah did with his disciples.

Luke 24:40 And when he had thus spoken, he shewed them his hands and his feet.   41 And while they yet believed not for joy, and wondered, he said unto them, Have ye here any meat?   42 And they gave him a piece of a broiled fish, and of an honeycomb.   43 And he took it, and did eat before them.

Acts 10:39 And we are witnesses of all things which he did both in the land of the Jews, and in Jerusalem; whom they slew and hanged on a tree:   40 Him Yahweh raised up the third day, and shewed him openly;   41 Not to all the people, but unto witnesses chosen before of Yahweh, even to us, who did eat and drink with him after he rose from the dead.

John 21:12 Yah’shua saith unto them, Come and dine. And none of the disciples durst ask him, Who art thou? knowing that it was the Sovereign.   13 YahwehShua then cometh, and taketh bread, and giveth them, and fish likewise.   14 This is now the third time that YahwehShua shewed himself to his disciples, after that he was risen from the dead.

Saints today have access to powerful faith. Unfortunately that powerful faith is limited by our carnal nature.  When Yahweh’s children are glorified, saints will have faith as a grain of mustard seed.  What power will be bestowed to those in the first resurrection!!

Matthew 17:20 And Yah’shua said unto them, Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you.

Luke 17:6 And Sovereign said, If ye had faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye might say unto this sycamine tree, Be thou plucked up by the root, and be thou planted in the sea; and it should obey you.

Another reward for saints when we are glorified at Messiah’s Second Coming is that we will never again experience death!  So not only will saints be incorruptible, we will be immortal!

Luke 20:35 But they which shall be accounted worthy to obtain that world, and the resurrection from the dead, neither marry, nor are given in marriage:   36 Neither can they die any more: for they are equal unto the angels; and are the children of Yahweh, being the children of the resurrection.

Revelation 20:6 Blessed and holy is he that hath part in the first resurrection: on such the second death hath no power, but they shall be priests of Yahweh and of Messiah, and shall reign with him a thousand years.

1 Thessalonians 4:16 For YahwehShua himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of Yahweh: and the dead in Messiah shall rise first:   17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet YahwehShua in the air: and so shall we ever be with Yahwehshua.   18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

As Paul clearly states, we see through a glass darkly of the rewards Yahweh has for us who obey His Word. And Paul should know since he was taught directly by the resurrected YahwehShua (Galatians 1:11-17)

1 Corinthian 13:12 For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.

It is clear that our human minds cannot even comprehend the rewards Yahweh has prepared for us who love Him by obeying Him!!!

1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which Elohim hath prepared for them that love him.

Isaiah 64:4 For since the beginning of the world men have not heard, nor perceived by the ear, neither hath the eye seen, O Elohim, beside thee, what he hath prepared for him that waiteth for him.

Habakkuk 1:5 Behold ye among the heathen, and regard, and wonder marvellously: for I will work a work in your days, which ye will not believe, though it be told you.

Not only will saints be Priests and Kings during Messiah’s 1,000 year reign, but based on how well we multiplied our gifts given to us by Yahweh, we will be rewarded with rulership over cities on Earth.

Luke 19:11 And as they heard these things, he added and spake a parable, because he was nigh to Jerusalem, and because they thought that the kingdom of Yahweh should immediately appear.   12 He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return.   13 And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.   14 But his citizens hated him, and sent a message after him, saying, We will not have this man to reign over us.   15 And it came to pass, that when he was returned, having received the kingdom, then he commanded these servants to be called unto him, to whom he had given the money, that he might know how much every man had gained by trading.   16 Then came the first, saying, Master, thy pound hath gained ten pounds.   17 And he said unto him, Well, thou good servant: because thou hast been faithful in a very little, have thou authority over ten cities.   18 And the second came, saying, Master, thy pound hath gained five pounds.   19 And he said likewise to him, Be thou also over five cities.

Matthew 22:14 For the kingdom of heaven is as a man travelling into a far country, who called his own servants, and delivered unto them his goods.   15 And unto one he gave five talents, to another two, and to another one; to every man according to his several ability; and straightway took his journey.   16 Then he that had received the five talents went and traded with the same, and made them other five talents.   17 And likewise he that had received two, he also gained other two.   18 But he that had received one went and digged in the earth, and hid his Master’s money.   19 After a long time the Master of those servants cometh, and reckoneth with them.   20 And so he that had received five talents came and brought other five talents, saying, Master, thou deliveredst unto me five talents: behold, I have gained beside them five talents more.   21 His Master said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant: thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy Master.   22 He also that had received two talents came and said, Master, thou deliveredst unto me two talents: behold, I have gained two other talents beside them.   23 His Master said unto him, Well done, good and faithful servant; thou hast been faithful over a few things, I will make thee ruler over many things: enter thou into the joy of thy Master.

Not only will saints rule over many cities, but we will be in charge of the justice system for the world, including judging angels.

1 Corinthians 6:2 Do ye not know that the saints shall judge (2919) the world? and if the world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters?   3 Know ye not that we shall judge (2919) angels? how much more things that pertain to this life?

2919 krino {kree’-no}  •  perhaps a primitive word; TDNT – 3:921,469; v •  AV – judge 88, determine 7, condemn 5, go to law 2, call in question 2, esteem 2, misc 8; 114 •  1) to separate, put asunder, to pick out, select, choose 2) to approve, esteem, to prefer 3) to be of opinion,  deem, think, to be of opinion 4) to determine, resolve, decree 5) to judge 5a) to pronounce an opinion concerning  right and wrong 5a1) to be judged, i.e. summoned to trial that one’s case may be examined and judgment passed  upon it 5b) to pronounce judgment, to subject to censure 5b1) of those who act the part of judges or arbiters in  matters of common life, or pass judgment on the deeds and words of others 6) to rule, govern 6a) to preside over  with the power of giving judicial decisions, because it was the prerogative of kings and rulers to pass judgment 7)  to contend together, of warriors and combatants 7a) to dispute 7b) in a forensic sense 7b1) to go to law, have suit  at law

And the twelve apostles will rule over the twelve tribes of Israel.

Matthew 19:28 And Yah’shua said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That ye which have followed me, in the regeneration when the Son of man shall sit in the throne of his glory, ye also shall sit upon twelve thrones, judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

During the 1,000-year reign, Messiah will be King of kings and Sovereign of sovereigns. But first He must make war and destroy the existing kings/kingdoms at His Second Coming.

Daniel 2:44 And in the days of these kings shall the Elohim of heaven set up a kingdom, which shall never be destroyed: and the kingdom shall not be left to other people, but it shall break in pieces and consume all these kingdoms, and it shall stand for ever.   45 Forasmuch as thou sawest that the stone (Messiah) was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great Elohim hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.

Revelation 17:12 And the ten horns which thou sawest are ten kings, which have received no kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one hour with the beast.   13 These have one mind, and shall give their power and strength unto the beast.  14 These shall make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb shall overcome them: for he is Sovereign of sovereigns, and King of kings: and they that are with him are called, and chosen, and faithful.

Revelations 19:13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called Dabar Yahweh.   14 And the armies which were  in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.   15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron: and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty Yahweh.

Zechariah 14:3 Then shall Yahweh go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.   4 And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west,

9 And Yahweh shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Yahweh, and his name one.

Not only will Messiah be King of kings and Sovereign of sovereigns but He will be our high priest according to the Order of Melchizedek, an unending priesthood.

Psalm 110:4 Yahweh hath sworn, and will not repent, Thou (Messiah) art a priest for ever after the order of Melchizedek.   5 The Sovereign (Messiah) at thy right hand shall strike through kings in the day of his wrath.   6 He shall judge among the heathen, he shall fill the places with the dead bodies; he shall wound the heads over many countries.

Hebrews 7:20 And inasmuch as not without an oath he was made priest:   21 (For those priests were made without an oath; but this with an oath by him that said unto him, Yahweh sware and will not repent, Thou art a priest for ever after the order of Melchisedec:)   22 By so much was YahwehShua made a surety of a better testament.   23 And they truly were many priests, because they were not suffered to continue by reason of death:   24 But this man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.   25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto Yahweh by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

Messiah destroys the kings/kingdoms of this world at His Second Coming so He can rule the nations with a rod of iron.  Flesh and blood humans remaining at His Second Coming will be required to obey Yahweh’s righteousness or receive serious consequences.

16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND SOVEREIGN OF SOVEREIGNS.

Psalm 2:7 I will declare the decree: Yahweh hath said unto me, Thou art my Son; this day have I begotten thee.   8 Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.   9 Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron; thou shalt dash them in pieces like a potter’s vessel.

Zechariah 14:16 And it shall come to pass, that every one that is left of all the nations which came against Jerusalem shall even go up from year to year to worship the King, Yahweh of hosts, and to keep the feast of tabernacles.   17 And it shall be, that whoso will not come up of all the families of the earth unto Jerusalem to worship the King, Yahweh of hosts, even upon them shall be no rain.   18 And if the family of Egypt go not up, and come not, that have no rain; there shall be the plague, wherewith Yahweh will smite the heathen that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.   19 This shall be the punishment of Egypt, and the punishment of all nations that come not up to keep the feast of tabernacles.

And during the 1,000-year reign of Messiah, Yahweh’s great name will be known among the nations!  And the whole world will finally understand the name of both the Father and the Son.  They will understand that there is only one name above all names, there is only one name that is exalted, and that there is only one name which we must use to be saved…….the great name of Yahweh!  For more information on the Father and Son’s name, please read “The Name of Inheritance by George Gabler, “The Great Riddle”, and “Names and Titles”.

Malachi 1:11 For from the rising of the sun even unto the going down of the same my name shall be great among the Gentiles; and in every place incense shall be offered unto my name, and a pure offering: for my name shall be great among the heathen, saith Yahweh of hosts.

Ezekiel 36:23 And I will sanctify my great name, which was profaned among the heathen, which ye have profaned in the midst of them; and the heathen shall know that I am Yahweh, saith Sovereign Elohim, when I shall be sanctified in you before their eyes.

Ezekiel 39:7 So will I make my holy name known in the midst of my people Israel; and I will not let them pollute my holy name any more: and the heathen shall know that I am Yahweh, the Holy One in Israel.

A new temple will be built in Jerusalem (see Ezekiel 40, 41, and 42) and Messiah at His Second Coming will enter this temple through the east gates (see Ezekiel 43:1-8 and Ezekiel 44:1-3).  And the city of Jerusalem will be known as the place where Yahweh resides and the city of truth!

Ezekiel 48:35 It (3rd temple) was round about eighteen thousand measures: and the name of the city from that day shall be, Yahweh is there (Yahweh Shammah).

Zechariah 8:3 Thus saith Yahweh; I am returned unto Zion, and will dwell in the midst of Jerusalem: and Jerusalem shall be called a city of truth; and the mountain of Yahweh of hosts the holy mountain.

This earthly kingdom of Messiah has been prophesied by the great prophets of the Old Testament and was the burning question asked by the Apostles after Messiah’s resurrection.

Acts 1:4 And, being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the Father, which, saith he, ye have heard of me.   5 For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days hence.   6 When they therefore were come together, they asked of him, saying, Sovereign, wilt thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?

Jeremiah 23:5 Behold, the days come, saith Yahweh, that I will raise unto David a righteous Branch, and a King shall reign and prosper, and shall execute judgment and justice in the earth.   6 In his days Judah shall be saved, and Israel shall dwell safely: and this is his name whereby he shall be called, YAHWEH OUR RIGHTEOUSNESS (Yahweh Tsidkenu).  (Also see Jeremiah 33:16).

Zechariah 14:8 And it shall be in that day, that living waters shall go out from Jerusalem; half of them toward the former sea, and half of them toward the hinder sea: in summer and in winter shall it be.   9 And Yahweh shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one Yahweh, and his name one.

During Messiah’s 1,000 year reign, the nations will learn Yahweh’s righteous ways and there will be unparalleled peace.  Imagine a world without violence, wars and rumors of wars!

Micah 4:1 But in the last days it shall come to pass, that the mountain of the house of Yahweh shall be established in the top of the mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills; and people shall flow unto it.   2 And many nations shall come, and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of Yahweh, and to the house of the El of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for the law shall go forth of Zion, and the word of Yahweh from Jerusalem.   3 And he shall judge among many people, and rebuke strong nations afar off; and they shall beat their swords into plowshares, and their spears into pruninghooks: nation shall not lift up a sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more.   4 But they shall sit every man under his vine and under his fig tree; and none shall make them afraid: for the mouth of Yahweh of hosts hath spoken it(also see Isaiah 2:1-4)

Isaiah 11:6 The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatling together; and a little child shall lead them.   7 And the cow and the bear shall feed; their young ones shall lie down together: and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.   8 And the sucking child shall play on the hole of the asp, and the weaned child shall put his hand on the cockatrice’ den.   9 They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain: for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of Yahweh, as the waters cover the sea.   10 And in that day there shall be a root of Jesse, which shall stand for an ensign of the people; to it shall the Gentiles seek: and his rest shall be glorious.

Isaiah 65:21 And they shall build houses, and inhabit them; and they shall plant vineyards, and eat the fruit of them.   22 They shall not build, and another inhabit; they shall not plant, and another eat: for as the days of a tree are the days of my people, and mine elect shall long enjoy the work of their hands.   23 They shall not labour in vain, nor bring forth for trouble; for they are the seed of the blessed of Yahweh, and their offspring with them.   24 And it shall come to pass, that before they call, I will answer; and while they are yet speaking, I will hear.   25 The wolf and the lamb shall feed together, and the lion shall eat straw like the bullock: and dust shall be the serpent’s meat. They shall not hurt nor destroy in all my holy mountain, saith Yahweh.

Zephaniah 3:15 Yahweh hath taken away thy judgments, he hath cast out thine enemy: the king of Israel, even Yahweh, is in the midst of thee: thou shalt not see evil any more.   16 In that day it shall be said to Jerusalem, Fear thou not: and to Zion, Let not thine hands be slack.   17 Yahweh thy Elohim in the midst of thee is mighty;

Satan will be bound for 1,000 years so the nations are not deceived.   Since Satan is bound for this time period and then released, we can be confident that Yahweh is talking about a real time period when Messiah reigns on earth!

Revelation 20:1 And I saw an angel come down from heaven, having the key of the bottomless pit and a great chain in his hand.   2 And he laid hold on the dragon, that old serpent, which is the Devil, and Satan, and bound him a thousand years,   3 And cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal upon him, that he should deceive the nations no more, till the thousand years should be fulfilled: and after that he must be loosed a little season.

Not only will glorified saints and the whole world know Yahweh’s righteous ways and have peace but the planet will be transformed from a wasteland into a Garden of Eden.  Earth will become a paradise and sickness and disease will be healed!

Isaiah 35:1 The wilderness and the solitary place shall be glad for them; and the desert shall rejoice, and blossom as the rose.   2 It shall blossom abundantly, and rejoice even with joy and singing: the glory of Lebanon shall be given unto it, the excellency of Carmel and Sharon, they shall see the glory of Yahweh, and the excellency of our Elohim.   3 Strengthen ye the weak hands, and confirm the feeble knees.   4 Say to them that are of a fearful heart, Be strong, fear not: behold, your Elohim will come with vengeance, even Elohim with a recompence; he will come and save you.   5 Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened, and the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.   6 Then shall the lame man leap as an hart, and the tongue of the dumb sing: for in the wilderness shall waters break out, and streams in the desert.   7 And the parched ground shall become a pool, and the thirsty land springs of water: in the habitation of dragons, where each lay, shall be grass with reeds and rushes.   8 And an highway shall be there, and a way, and it shall be called The way of holiness; the unclean shall not pass over it; but it shall be for those: the wayfaring men, though fools, shall not err therein.   9 No lion shall be there, nor any ravenous beast shall go up thereon, it shall not be found there; but the redeemed shall walk there:   10 And the ransomed of Yahweh shall return, and come to Zion with songs and everlasting joy upon their heads: they shall obtain joy and gladness, and sorrow and sighing shall flee away.

Ezekiel 47:12 And by the river upon the bank thereof, on this side and on that side, shall grow all trees for meat, whose leaf shall not fade, neither shall the fruit thereof be consumed: it shall bring forth new fruit according to his months, because their waters they issued out of the sanctuary: and the fruit thereof shall be for meat, and the leaf thereof for medicine.

Isaiah 51:3 For Yahweh shall comfort Zion: he will comfort all her waste places; and he will make her wilderness like Eden, and her desert like the garden of Yahweh; joy and gladness shall be found therein, thanksgiving, and the voice of melody.

Ezekiel 36:35 And they shall say, This land that was desolate is become like the garden of Eden; and the waste and desolate and ruined cities are become fenced, and are inhabited.   36 Then the heathen that are left round about you shall know that I Yahweh build the ruined places, and plant that was desolate: I Yahweh have spoken it, and I will do it.

The 1,000-year reign of Messiah is tied to Yahweh’s Feast of Sukkot (Tabernacles), a seven-day festival representing the restoration of the Kingdom to Israel and 1,000-year Kingdom of Yahweh headed by our Savior, YahwehShua.  For more information on this feast, please read “Feast of Tabernacles”.

During Messiah’s 1,000 year rule with saints as Priests and Kings, there will be peace, happiness, and love.  All social, political, and ecological problems will be corrected through the righteous administration of YahwehShua and His saints.  What a glorious time it will be!!!

The rewards believers will receive at our resurrection and during the 1,000 years are amazing.  To rule with Messiah as Priests and Kings, to be given amazing power, and to know we cannot ever sin or die is unbelievable.

Although the reward during the 1,000 year reign of Messiah sounds incredible, this is not even our ultimate reward.  The ultimate reward is to be with Yahweh and his Lamb as spirit for eternity in New Jerusalem, where there will be no more sin, death, nor suffering but only love.

In fact, to believe that being Priests and Kings ruling over cities during the 1,000-year reign of Messiah is the sum total of the great reward is more than a gross misunderstanding, it is blindness!  One thousand years is only a speck of time in the unending vastness of eternity.  To be able to share Yahweh and his Lamb’s love, power, glory, and intimacy for eternity in New Jerusalem is the ultimate reward.

Do you know that the kingdom of The Father begins where the kingdom of the Son ends…at the Lake of Fire and the creation of the New Heavens and New Earth?

1 Corinthians 15:20 But now is Messiah risen from the dead, and become the firstfruits of them that slept.   21 For since by man came death, by man came also the resurrection of the dead.   22 For as in Adam all die, even so in Messiah shall all be made alive.   23 But every man in his own order: Messiah the firstfruits; afterward they that are Messiah’s at his coming.   24 Then cometh the end, when he shall have delivered up the kingdom to Yahweh, even the Father; when he shall have put down all rule and all authority and power.  25 For he [The Son] must reign, till he [The Father] hath put all enemies under his [The Son’s] feet.  26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death.  27 For he [The Father] hath put all things under his [The Son’s] feet. But when he [The Father] saith all things are put under him [The Son], it is manifest that he [The Father] is excepted, which did put all things under him [The Son].  28 And when all things shall be subdued unto him [The Father], then shall the Son also himself be subject unto him [The Father] that put all things under him [The Son], that Yahweh may be all in all.

Revelation 21:1 And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea.   2 And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from Yahweh out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.   3 And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of Yahweh is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and Yahweh himself shall be with them, and be their Elohim.  4 And Yahweh shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.   5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

Isaiah 65:17 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth: and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind.   18 But be ye glad and rejoice for ever in that which I create: for, behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy.   19 And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in my people: and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her, nor the voice of crying.

2 Peter 3:10 But the day of Yahweh will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up.   11 Seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and righteousness,   12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of Yahweh, wherein the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat?   13 Nevertheless we, according to his promise, look for new heavens and a new earth, wherein dwelleth righteousness.

And at the last trump and the coming of the New Heavens and Earth, death will be destroyed for good by life.  All mankind will be given life.  All will be incorruptible and immortal.  Those who obeyed Yahweh shall have the right to enter New Jerusalem (Revelation 22:14) where Yahweh and his Lamb reside. Those who did not repent will be outside New Jerusalem (Revelation 21:27 and 22:15).  For more information on this topic of reconciliation, please read “Yahweh’s Supreme Love”.

1 Corinthians 15:51 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,   52 In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.   53 For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.   54 So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory.   55 O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?

And the physical description of New Jerusalem sounds like paradise (Revelation 21:9-21) and is where our Father has many mansions waiting for us.

John 14:1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in Yahweh, believe also in me.   2 In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.

Note that there are things which offend in the kingdom of The Son (Zechariah 14:16-19), but are not present in the kingdom of the Father, where the righteous shine as the sun.

Matthew 13:41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;  42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.  43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Daniel 12:2 And many of them that sleep in the dust of the earth shall awake, some to everlasting life, and some to shame and everlasting contempt.   3 And they that be wise shall shine as the brightness of the firmament; and they that turn many to righteousness as the stars for ever and ever.

And in New Jerusalem saints will be with Yahweh and his Lamb for eternity.  Selah (i.e. think about it).

Revelation 21:22 And I saw no temple therein: for Yahweh El Shaddai and the Lamb are the temple of it.   23 And the city had no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine in it: for the glory of Yahweh did lighten it, and the Lamb is the light thereof.   24 And the nations of them which are saved shall walk in the light of it: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory and honour into it.   25 And the gates of it shall not be shut at all by day: for there shall be no night there.

Revelation 22:3 And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of Yahweh and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:   4 And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.   5 And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for Yahweh Elohim giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.

This is an incredible journey that we look forward to.  As Paul quoted the prophet Isaiah in 1 Corinthians, “Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which Elohim hath prepared for them that love him.”

1 Peter 1:3 Blessed be the Yahweh and Father of our Sovereign YahwehShua Messiah, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of YahwehShua Messiah from the dead,   4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you

Appendix A

As we have already discussed earlier, after our resurrection, we will be like YahwehShua during the 1,000 years of His earthly kingdom.  And after Messiah’s resurrection He was flesh and bones.

Luke 24:39 Behold my hands and my feet, that it is I myself: handle me, and see; for a spirit hath not flesh and bones, as ye see me have.

Ephesians 5:30 For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones.

An interesting question is “Will flesh and bones be saints’ final state”?  Or will saints again be changed at the coming of the New Heavens and Earth?  Let’s take a look at some Scriptures:

Revelation 21:4 And Yahweh shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

First of all, Revelation 21:4 indicates that there will be no death and that the former things have passed away in the New Heavens and Earth.  But after the resurrection from the dead, Messiah was flesh and bones and bore the marks of his death for sin. If the “former things are passed away”, why would there be any indication of Messiah’s crucifixion?

John 20:25 The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Master. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe.  26 And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came YahwehShua, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you.  27 Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.

We know that Yahweh the Father is Spirit (John 4:24) who dwells in unapproachable light (1 Timothy 6:16).  So can flesh and bones be pure Spirit like the Father?

John 3:6 That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. 7 Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.   8 The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit.

It appears that flesh and bones is not pure spirit.  Therefore a possibility is that the first resurrection at Messiah’s Second Coming is an interim transitional state to a second and final resurrection/change to pure spirit at the creation of the New Heavens and New Earth. And as we continue to read in Revelation 21, Yahweh makes “all things new” in the New Heavens and Earth.  So making “all things new” could mean changing saints from flesh and bones to pure spirit.

Revelation 21:5 And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful.

It would be incongruous to leave evidence of sin (i.e. nail marks in Messiah) where there can be no memory of sin in the New Heavens and Earth.   Any hint of sin would be based on remembering the former things and would go against Revelation 21:4.

Appendix B

Not only are believers rewarded when they are glorified at Messiah’s Second Coming, it is interesting to note saints are currently being rewarded!

Hebrew 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to Yahweh must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.

Matthew 7:7 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you:   8 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.

11 If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?

Below is a glimpse of some of the current rewards of saints.  First we have the access to the love and peace that surpasses all understanding and knowledge.

Philippians 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto Yahweh.   7 And the peace of Yahweh, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Messiah YahwehShua.

Ephesians 3:17 That Messiah may dwell in your hearts by faith; that ye, being rooted and grounded in love,   18 May be able to comprehend with all saints what is the breadth, and length, and depth, and height;   19 And to know the love of Messiah, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fulness of Yahweh.

Saints have direct access to the throne of Yahweh, who listens and answers our prayers!

John 14:13 And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.  14 If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.

John 16:24 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.

Saints have access to Yahweh’s power, His Holy Spirit, to lead us into all truth and righteousness.

John 14:25 These things have I spoken unto you, being yet present with you.   26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, it shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. (also see John 16:13-14)

Ephesians 1:17 That the El of our Sovereign YahwehShua Messiah, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of him:   18 The eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that ye may know what is the hope of his calling, and what the riches of the glory of his inheritance in the saints,

And Yahweh’s Holy Spirit in believers is our seal of salvation knowing we are joint heirs with Messiah!  Believers are given hope of a glorious future!

Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the evangel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

Ephesians 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of Yahweh, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.

Romans 8:17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of Yahweh, and joint-heirs with Messiah; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

Lastly, another reward saints today have is Yahweh’s angels who act as ministering spirits to believers!

Hebrews 1:13 But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool?   14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

Psalm 91:9 Because thou hast made Yahweh, which is my refuge, even the most High, thy habitation;   10 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling.   11 For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.

HalleluYah
